Malad Milkers Dairy Goat Club
Members of the Malad Milkers Dairy Goat Club learn about proper goat immunization practices during a recent club meeting. Participants gained hands-on knowledge about the importance of vaccinations in maintaining herd health and preventing disease.
On Friday, May 29, the Malad Milkers 4-H Dairy Goat Club met for the first meeting of the year! They decided officers, which now include Elsee Parker as President, Harper Maughan as Vice President, Becky Evans as Secretary, Abbie Cox as Reporter, and Caysten Williams as Treat Man.
This officer team will help lead the club for the year! The club also covered reminders for the year and invited its members to ponder a shirt design. After some discussion, the club headed to the barn and learned hands on how to give immunizations and its importance! they will meet again on June 12 at Wendy Thomas’, house who is the club leader, her assistant is Elsie Maughan. The club is also invited to attend the Utah Dairy Goat Association Cache Valley Open Show at the Cache Valley Fairgrounds! The Malad Milkers are excited for the year and preparing for the Dairy Goat Show in August!
