The Iron Door Arts and Theater production of “Frozen” is set to open this Friday.  Nerves are also high the week of dress rehearsals, but based on the state of the production last week, the musical should be very entertaining.

“Frozen,” of course, is adapted from the animated film of the same name, which recently saw the release of a sequel.  It’s possibly one of the most famous films of any type of the last decade and a half, giving its name to an impressive number of toys, games, spin-offs, and so on.  It’s hard to imagine anyone having never heard songs from the film – certainly anyone who either was or had a kid since 2013.  

Elsa starts the play as a stern figure.

The costuming and stage design are creative and surprising!
