Malad’s BPA team competed at Regionals in December, and State in February. The group is very active, and plans to keep expanding with the support of the community.
In December, the Malad High School Business Professionals of America competed at Regionals at Idaho State University. Members include Hope Briggs competing in Fundamental Spreadsheet Application, BreElle Ferree, Trevor Allen, Carter Smith, and Samantha Schrenk competing in Parliamentary Procedure. Liam Donnan competing in Device Configuration and Troubleshooting, Jaxon Shandrew competing in Microsoft Word, Adi Schow competing in Graphic Design, Bayli Nesbit, Adi Schow, Jaezie Jensen and Samatha Schrenk competing in Interview, Laney Coatney and Bella Burbidge competing in Podcast, Cruz Carter and Paige Talbot competing in Video Production Team, Halie Palmer and Addison Williams competing in Photography, Jens Huckaby competing in Computer Security, and Jack Willie partnered with Jens Huckaby to compete in Video Production Team.
In February, those that qualified during regionals, traveled to State Leadership BPA to compete. Members spent two days competing in their category and waiting patiently for callbacks.

As part of competing at our national competition in Nashville, our students are required to pay for their accommodations. The cost is estimated to be $2,000 per student. Your donations and support, if possible, would be greatly appreciated.
