Ty Price was honored as the Oneida School District “Employee of the Month” at the December 16, 2025, meeting of the School Board.  Ty is the School District Athletic Director as well as teaching for both Malad High School and Malad Middle School.

High School Principal Robert Hannah read the following letter about Ty:

“It is a pleasure to work with Mr. Ty Price.  Ty is a huge part of student success at Malad High School.

“Ty is only a part-time employee at MHS [due to also teaching at MMS], but his impact has been significant.  He is dependable.  He is professional. He is thinking forward.

“His impact as our activities/athletic director has done so much to help build our positive school culture.  His collaboration skills and execution of what needs to be done are a big deal.

“His part-time status is a smoke-screen because we are getting a full-time and beyond effort out of Mr. Ty Price.”

In recognition of the honor, Ty received a plaque and a copy of the “Starfish” story.
