The Event Center in Malad was filled to capacity last Friday as the community came out to support the State Champion wrestlers, their parents, coaches, and fans.  The evening included both a live and silent auction, as well as an outstanding dinner.  Wrestlers served as attendants and servers during the event, monitored by their “all-in” parents who helped make the night a huge success.   

Impossible! Coaches can’t win drawings

The repeat State Champion Malad Dragons are a force to be reckoned with on the state athletic scene, and more than set to bring back another title.  The coaches held the floor to thank everyone for their support and run the evening’s events, with Coach Maddox and Merridee Morrison holding multiple drawings throughout the evening from a huge variety of sponsors.  It may have been the case that a coach ended up drawing a name he recognized for a big prize.  The live auction was turned over to auctioneer Glen Gillies, who sold it all!
