Malad’s own Robert Hannah, or “Mr. Hannah” for many, was honored for his career-long history of bringing the best to his various roles within the education system, primarily as a principal.  Hannah worked in education in many capacities, from the classroom to the lunch room, but has also recently been hired as Malad High School’s principal, a job that is mere days away from starting in full.  

Hannah is widely loved in Malad as a calming influence in what can sometimes be the turbulent world of education, and has been the principal of countless Malad students. 

The Idaho Association of Elementary School Principals recognizes the outstanding leadership and contribution of elementary and middle school principals. Principal Hannah received the “Distinguished Service” Award last week in Boise, for the State of Idaho. Principal Hannah has demonstrated superior leadership in elementary/middle level education and has demonstrated outstanding service to the profession and to the welfare of Idaho students. Congratulate him when you see him!
