The Oneida County Fair is well and truly underway by the time this paper will be on stands.  With the several horse shows running into press time, and changes in the weigh-in schedule meaning that the familiar dog shows were moved to Tuesday, there are no official results for us to present just yet.  Monday night did begin with a literal bang, as a night of Horse Pulls culminated in the Fireworks show at the fairgrounds.  Otherwise, this week’s events will be next week’s news, including the results of the Open Class categories, Showmanship and Market Animal shows, Demonstrations, and many other events.  A recap of the schedule from Thursday to Saturday is included here for quick reference:
