Enforcer of the Code!

John V. Christophersen was hired by the City of Malad as the Enforcement Officer of Public Ordinances. It is a “good fit” for John Chris as he brings with him to the job, twelve years in law enforcement. Presently, the top “code” John would like to remind citizens about is found in ORDINANCE 468; SECTION 6: STORAGE OF VEHICLS ON PUBLIC STREET. Which reads:

SECTION 6: STORAGE OF VEHICLES ON PUBLIC STREETS. Any person who parks or allows a vehicle to be parked upon any street or alley within the incorporated Malad City limits for a period of forty-eight (48) or more consecutive hours in the same location shall be guilty of an infraction. Any vehicle so parked or stored may be removed by or under the direction of City personal, the Oneida County Sheriff or his designated agent, and/or any peace officer and may be impounded in accordance with the provisions of this Ordinance.

John encourages citizens NOT TO PARK ON STREETS DURING SNOW-STORM WEATHER to facilitate the curb- to- curb snow removal.

Violation of this ordinance would be an infraction and could result in a fine.

When you see John Chris riding around in the “Enforcement Code Cab,” please know his plan of action is to “Notify First” and educate the population of what can keep Malad City streamlined and functioning. May the FORCE be with him!
