Lance Tripp for City Council

In my opinion, Lance Tripp has done a good job in serving Malad City as a councilman.  The experience he has gained in the past will make him even more valuable in the future for Malad.  Please join me in voting for Lance Tripp for City Council in the upcoming election.

Gene Caldwell,

Former City

Councilman

In support of Lance Tripp

Dear Idaho Enterprise Readers,

With the City Council Elections coming up, I have been seeing the signs promoting the different candidates. While all the runners are great people who have unique talents and qualities, I strongly feel that Lance Tripp is what our growing community needs right now!

I have known Lance Tripp since 2009. I had the opportunity to serve on the Malad AreaChamber of Commerce committee under Lance while he was President until 2014. During those memorable years, I proudly served the community with Lance, while observing and learning from him.

The Chamber of Commerce helped to advance and promote local owned businesses in our valley, and took charge of many fun events that brought our valley together.

For the last few years, I have served on the Oneida Recreation Board (now committee) with Lance. Lance represents the city council. He is essential to the board; ensuring we follow the policies and procedures, stay within budgets, bridging city and recreation board to make sure both needs are met, and is committed to the advancement of the recreation for our area.

Anyone who knows Lance Tripp will agree with me when I say; Lance performs his duty

selflessly, with integrity and great leadership skills. His heart is committed to this community; all that Lance does reflects his love for our valley and its inhabitants. I have witnessed Lance be an advocate for the betterment of Malad. He has spent COUNTLESS hours at meetings, city events, and the park ensuring that everything is done correctly and smooth.

Malad City and Oneida County have benefitted (whether we realize it or not) from Lance Tripp’s competent leading abilities. I support Lance Tripp for City Council.

Vote for Lance Tripp

This letter is written in support of Lance Tripp’s bid for re-election to the Malad City Council. Lance has the experience as a veteran member of the City Council and as the past President of the Malad Chamber of Commerce to know the needs of the residents of Malad. He has the perspective to know what must be done to preserve the good and to overcome the challenges in our town.

As President of the Chamber of Commerce, Lance worked tirelessly on events sponsored by the Chamber, including the Easter Egg Hunt and the 4 th of July.

When the Malad Valley Welsh Festival needed a sound system for the outdoor amphitheater, he set up the Chamber’s system and trained volunteers in how it worked.

As a City Council member, Lance has had responsibility for city recreation. He has worked with coaches, parents, and community members to ensure that adults and youth in the community have access to recreational facilities, including the splash pad and the pickleball courts. Lance takes his responsibilities seriously and works quietly, without fanfare, to fulfill them.

Lance has the time to devote to the City Council. Governing Malad during this time of growth requires attending many, many local, regional, and state meetings, consulting with counterparts in other cities, listening to innumerable complaints and suggestions on the phone and in person, and conducting research into problems and solutions. Lance makes the time to accomplish the tasks required of him. He knows the job is not just a one-meeting-a-month commitment.

Please vote for the person with the experience and the time to serve on Malad’s City Council. Vote for Lance Tripp.
