Homecoming Royalty Announced

The 2022 Homecoming Royalty has been voted on by students of Malad High School to represent the student body for this year’s Homecoming activities. The royalty will be featured at the Homecoming Football game, parade, and dance next week.
Queen: Reagan Smith
Reagan Smith, the daughter of Dustin and Christine Smith, is the Student Body Secretary. She is also involved in Chamber Choir, FCCLA, Journalism Club, Drama Club, and National Honor Society. Reagan was selected as this year’s Distinguished Young Woman of Malad and the Malad’s Got Talent Winner of 2022. She played Calamity Jane in this year’s musical performance. She is in the top 10% of her class, and loves stargazing, hot baths, and Troy Bolton.
King: Preston Bird
Preston Bird, son of Lance and Mandy Bird, is the manager of the High School Baseball team, and plays both football and basketball. He has been awarded a citizenship award, and he loves to play sports, be outside, hunt, and spend time with family.
Princess: Camia Bean
Camia Bean, daughter of Von and Debra Bean, is involved in Student Body, FCCLA, and Volleyball. She claims to know every Disney movie song, as well as skiing, sports, hiking, and spending time with family and friends.
Prince: Porter Kimberling
Porter Kimberling, son of
Billy and Crystal Kimberling, is a member of Student Council, the Mayor’s Youth Council, and the FCCLA. He is also a manager of the track team. Porter is in the top 10% of his class. He enjoys reading, working, and being known as the “tech guy.”
Duchess: Maisey Potter
Maisey Potter, the daughter of Bryan of Donna, is the FFA Chapter President. She has been awarded the FFA Chapter Leadership award, as well as the Principal’s Citizenship award. She also has a CNA license. Her favorite things are friends, family, and purple.
Duke: Jaden Ward
Jaden Ward, son of Brandon and Terra Ward, plays football, basketball, and baseball. He participates in Student Council, and likes hunting, sports, and the outdoors.
