The Stone Elementary students took an extra school to learn and play and celebrate Earth Day! On that rainy afternoon they focused on what good things we can all do to take of the Earth and everything that lives here. To culminate the day, they made simple bird feeders out of toilet paper rolls covered in peanut butter and topped with bird seed. The students were excited to take their feeders home and watch what birds will enjoy their tasty treats!
