The Malad High School Cheerleaders have their District Cheer Competition Saturday January 29th at Highland High School starting at 9:00am.  They have been preparing for this day for months and will be competing in the Co-Ed Show Division, Sideline, Pom and Co-Ed Stunt Division. They will be competing against other 5th District Schools Soda Springs, Bear Lake and Aberdeen. They would love it if people would come support them on Saturday.

The Cheerleaders recently attended the Battle at the Border Competition in Preston Saturday receiving 1st Place in Show, Sideline, Pom and Stunt Group.  Tayson Davis won the Tumble off and Becca Ward made it to the final round of the Jump off. It was a good practice for the Team to get them ready for District. 

Seniors this year are Callie Jensen, Breanna Lloyd, Kristal Ford, Gill Leckie, Tayson Davis and Carson Fonnesbeck. Juniors are Graycee Goddard, Becca Ward, Shyanne Cherry, Kayanna Kunz, Jaecee Jeppesen, Kaysha Beck and Mccady Howard. Sophomore Sadie Jensen and Freshmen Brylee Barnes and Kala Layton. Cheerleaders are Coached by Jennifer Hill and Assistant Coach Monica Tovey.
