Summary: Good progress is being made on rehab efforts along all division lines. Incident Commander Christopherson expects that the chosen management strategy will succeed with full containment of the fire by August 26. Wetting rains from last night’s thunderstorms helped facilitate firefighting efforts.

No projected movement is expected outside the established containment lines. The public can still expect to see smoke as interior pockets of fuels continue to burn. Many of the resources working the fire have been released to respond to other incidents. Approximately 180 personnel remain on scene to continue mopping up this incident.
