Last week’s story about the Volunteer of the Year somehow managed to leave out Rebecca Firth, who was the Chair of the committee, and according to members, the driving force.  According to committee member and Enterprise columnist Dotty Evanson (who brought the oversight to my attention very kindly), “She was our leader, organizer and pusher.  She kept us going!”  So the next time you see Rebecca, thank her an extra bunch for bringing pickleball to town.
