The Oneida School District “Employee of the Month” was honored at the School Board meeting on January 16. Amanda Tripp, who works as the head of the cafeteria and as an evening custodian for Malad Elementary School, was recognized for her dedication. Principal Sarah McIntyre read the following letter about Amanda’s work:

“Amanda is a dedicated employee and an invaluable asset to the staff at Malad Elementary School. She is very dependable and willing to take on any responsibility asked of her. She completes the task to the best of her ability and with a positive attitude. She is a hard worker and also looks for opportunities to help students who need a little extra attention.

“Amanda is a pleasure to work with. She is very positive and upbeat. She is always willing to come in when she is needed,” said Devin Morrison, [head custodian]. “Amanda is amazing. She is a hard worker and always willing to go the extra mile,” said Jean Coburn, [Director of Food Services].

“Amanda is a credit to the Oneida School District. She always puts the students first and exemplifies what an outstanding employee is.”

Amanda was presented with a gift card, a copy of the “Starfish” poem, and a plaque that will be displayed in the District Office for the month.
