Debra "Debbie" Lynne Scott

Debra “Debbie” Lynne Scott, 73, passed away December 21, 2023 in her home in Sandy, UT. Debbie grew up in Malad, ID where she graduated from Malad High in 1969. Debbie and Tom Scott were married in the Logan Temple September 26, 1969. The couple then moved to Salt Lake City, UT to begin their lives together. Debbie worked several jobs in her life, though she found a great joy in being a school bus driver for Jordan school district for 20 years. Debbie had 8 children, 18 grandchildren and one great grandson.

Debbie is survived by her husband Tom Scott, her Stepmother Carolyn Atkinson, her siblings Ron (Cyndi) Atkinson, Denise (Quinn) Deschamps, Mike (Lisa) Atkinson, Brad (Carol) Atkinson, Josh (Tiffany) Atkinson, her children Dustin Scott, Kassie (Todd) Carey, and Chase (Kim) Scott, her grandchildren Landon, Ariel, Bailey, Alyssa, Kaylee, Brenden, Celeste, Tyler, Mackenzie, Cameron, Sebastian, Elijah, Shane, Jaylee, Emery, Levi and Brielle, her great grandson Daxton.

She is proceeded in death by her Mother, Lajauna Thomas, her father Keith Atkinson, her stepfather Monte Thomas, her parents in-law Patsy and Khalil Scott, her brother Ricky Atkinson, her children Thomas Brandon Scott, Seth Khalil Scott, Nichole Scott, two children lost before they were born, and granddaughter Riley Northrup.

The viewing will be held Wednesday December 27th 6-8 PM

With an additional Family Viewing

Thursday December 28th 9:30-10:30 A.M.

The funeral will be held Thursday December 28th from 11 A.M.-12:15 P.M. Family Luncheon will be provided at the Stake Center, same location as above.

Interment December 28th 4 P.M.

Pleasant View Cemetery Malad, Idaho (Pleasant View Cemetery is about 5 miles west of Malad for those that would need it.)
