By this time, you’ve probably found your way inside the new Ace store just off Exit 13 at the top of 300 E.  The store has been open to customers since August, and in that time store manager Enoch Ward and his crew have been completing the installation of the store’s product lines, training employees, and working out the kinks.  On Friday and Saturday November 17 and 18, the store will host its official Grand Opening for the public.  The event will feature doorbuster sales and in store promotions, as well as prize giveaways.

Ace will be smoking turkeys on the Big Green Egg and Traeger to determine which makes the better bird.  In addition, several food trucks will be on hand—Iron Door Smokehouse, Bamma Wamma, and Swaffles.  

The following items are the main prizes which can be won by three lucky people with the right tickets.  A Henry Law Enforcement Edition rifle (valued at $1200), a Milwaukee M18 Brushless Drill Driver Kit w/batteries (valued at $399), and a $100 ACE Gift Card.  Tickets can be obtained by spending $50 in store, and visiting social media pages (Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter).  The social media posts on the different platforms each contain specific directions for obtaining tickets.  The item drawing will take place on November 18 at 8:00 p.m. at the store.

Ward’s Ace and Country store is has a wide range of tools, materials, and supplies for agricultural, home repair and maintenance, yardwork, gardening, and even recreation needs.  The store is the county’s only full sized hunting and fishing retailer, and can help outfit you for both work and fun.  A work and farm clothing section is currently being installed in the iconic silo section of the building as well.  The store has been seeing steady business ever since its soft opening toward the end of the summer.  As people have become used to its presence in town, many have come to appreciate its convenience and selection, keeping business in the valley and saving a lot of trips to bigger nearby towns.

Ace is proud to be an active member and supporter of the community, and is hopeful that everyone will take the Grand Opening’s weekend of special deals and prizes as an opportunity to get to know their new hometown store if they haven’t yet had the chance.

 In addition to the Ace product lines, the location is also the home of the Ward country store operations, and the store also has full service RV and Boat storage units for rent.  They are fully partitioned, secured, and include complimentary trickle charging outlets, sewer dump, and potable water for $300 a month.  The site can also dispense propane.
