Senior Night Football 2023

The Malad High Football team had 14 Senior members of the team this season. Those Seniors were:  (front, left to right) Mayson Brees, Hunter Wray, Timmy Jensen, Ben Martin, Caleb Mathews, Blaiz Wright, Collin Spencer, (back) Sawyer Poulson, Ryan Hubbard, Dylan Moss, Braylen Tripp, Lex Driscoll, Blake Williams, and Porter Ward.

Those Seniors were:  (front, left to right) Mayson Brees, Hunter Wray, Timmy Jensen, Ben Martin, Caleb Mathews, Blaiz Wright, Collin Spencer, (back) Sawyer Poulson, Ryan Hubbard, Dylan Moss, Braylen Tripp, Lex Driscoll, Blake Williams, and Porter Ward. 

#5 Ryan Hubbard.  Ryan is the son of Todd and Brittny Hubbard. In high school, Ryan participates in football, basketball, and baseball as well as Student Council and Seminary Council. When asked his plans for after high school, Ryan said, “Let’s graduate first.”

 #7 Dylan Moss. Dylan is the son of Ken and Becky Moss. In high school he is involved in football, wrestling, and track and Seminary Council. After graduation, Dylan plans to serve a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and then attend ISU Tech.  Dylan’s favorite football memory is when he scored an 80-yard touchdown against Bear Lake when he was in 8th grade and then partying all the way home. He would like to thank his coaches, Faith, and his parents for all their support.

 #10 Braylen Tripp.  Braylen is the son of Darrell and Camie Tripp. In high school, he is involved in football, basketball, track and seminary council. After graduation, he plans to serve a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He said his favorite football memory was “Todd and my dad throwing footballs at us when we ran.”

 #12 Timmy Jensen. Timmy is the son of David and Krishele Jensen. In high school, he is involved in football, basketball, baseball, and Seminary Council. After graduation, he plans to serve a mission for The Church of Jesus -Christ of Latter-day Saints.

 #16 Hunter Wray. Hunter is the son of Matt and Lesli Wray. In high school, he is involved in football, wrestling, track and Student Council. His plans after high school are to hunt Dal Sheep in Alaska with his dad and brothers and then serve a mission for the church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. According to Hunter, his favorite football memory is “Me and Ryan hitting each other with the pads before practice.”

 #50 Blaiz Wright – Blaize is the son of Eldon and Lisa Wright. In high school, he is involved in football, wrestling, and seminary council. After graduation, he plans to sere a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and then go to college at BYU-I.

 #53 Mayson Brees. Mayson is the son of Tina Christensen and Clint Brees. His plans after graduation are to continue his military career, which he began last summer.

 #55 Blake Williams. Blake is the son of Sam Williams. In high school, he is involved in football and FFA. After graduation, he plans to attend welding school. His favorite memory from football is the practice he had the chance to be the quarterback.

 #57 Caleb Mathews. Caleb is the son of Travis and Caroliene Mathews. In high school, he is involved in football, wrestling, and track. His plans after graduation include serving a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. His favorite memory from football is “playing buffalo before practice and every practice and everyone getting hurt.”

 #58 Sawyer Poulson. Sawyer is the son of Rhonda Poulson and Travis Poulson. In high school, he is involved in football and baseball. After high school, Sawyer plans to attend ISU to get a bachelor’s degree. His favorite memory from football is “smoking smarties on the bus on our way to Bear Lake our 8th grade year and winning.”

 #59 Porter Ward. Porter is the son of Leland and Christine Ward. In high school, he is involved in football and Ag. After graduation, Porter plans to become a welder and a hunting guide.  His favorite football memory is winning the Homecoming game this year.

 #64 Ben Martin. Ben is the son of Meagan Martinez and Cody Martin. In high school, he is involved in football. After graduation, Ben said his future plans are “to get as far as I can.” His favorite football memory is also the practice when they let Blake be quarterback.

 #65 Lex Driskel. Lex is the son of Kim and Jacob Driskel. In high school, he isi involved in football, wrestling, and track. After graduation, he plans to attend Bridgerland Technical College. His favorite football memory is “when I had a great qb hit against Soda."
