On Fridays, the festival will go from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m., and on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. There will be many fun activities such as a haunted homestead, carnival games, educational and historical activities, laser tag, and even a harvest dance! BPA Opening Meeting and Social

By: Aubree Palmer

Thursday, October 5th, 2023, the first official Malad High School Business Professionals of America meeting was held. The officers of BPA include President, Matilda Dickerson; Vice President, Kaitlyn Pickett; Secretary, Karlee Palmer; and Public Representative, Aubree Palmer. Monday, October 16th, 2023 was the opening social of the Malad BPA Association. As members participated in the scavenger hunt, they ventured around town to find fall-themed items. A member of each team had to be included in the picture to obtain credit. The team with each picture completed would win a prize. Attendee, Karlee Palmer, confirmed the intensity of the event. With a good-hearted smile, she said, “I am a very competitive person. This being said, I’m convinced I would have won if I didn’t have to pick up another member who arrived late to the function.” As winners, Hayes Teeples, Jes Schow, and Aubree Palmer raced to the finish line to collect the grand prize, which was gift certificates to the pizza stop.
