This last weekend, MHS held its annual Prom and Promenade on Saturday, March 19, 2022.  The theme this year was Hollywood Red Carpet.  The Junior Class put together a Prom Committee that included the following members:

• Becca Ward – Prom Committee Member

• Bailey Sweat – Prom Committee Member

• McCady Howard – Prom Committee Member

• Beth McClain – Prom Committee Member

• Matti Jacobsen – Prom Committee Member

• Rayleigh Barnes – Prom Committee Member

• Raegan Smith – Prom Committee Member

• Porter Kimberling – Prom Committee Member

• Bridger deJong – Prom Committee Member

The committee members and other class members started decorating on Tuesday, March 15, and decorated the gymnasium all week.  All the decorations in the gym and the commons were all set up and ready to go by Friday afternoon.  

MHS had a great deal of support from students, parents, the MHS Booster Club, and members of the Junior Class who helped decorate.  The committee expressed gratitude for their help and contributions.

Laura deJong made the 10-foot-tall balloon arch.  Donna Potter made the red-carpet ropes and stands.
